Virdee Secures $12.4M in Series A Funding, Spearheading Hospitality Tech Evolution

Virdee, a frontrunner in guest experience technology and automated check-in solutions, has successfully closed a Series A funding round, raising an impressive $12.4 million. The oversubscribed funding was spearheaded by Moneta Ventures, featuring significant participation from Silverton Partners, Koch Real Estate Investments, Alumni Ventures, DJR Advisors, Capital Factory, and other strategic partners.

This substantial investment paves the way for Virdee’s vertical expansion and reinforces its position as a leader in the hospitality sector. The funds will be instrumental in advancing Virdee’s technological capabilities, expanding product features, and bolstering its workforce. The company, founded in 2020 by Nadav Cornberg and Branigan Mulcahy, has already showcased remarkable growth, achieving nearly 600% revenue growth in 2022 with similar projections for 2023.

Brent Kelton, Partner at Moneta Ventures and newly appointed Virdee board member, emphasized the allure of Virdee’s value proposition, citing its ability to enhance guest experiences while empowering staff. Virdee’s platform utilizes digital applications and AI to automate front desk transactions seamlessly, connecting guests and hotels. The company’s client base includes major players such as four of the largest casino hotels in Las Vegas and other prominent hotel brands.

Branigan Mulcahy, Co-Founder of Virdee, expressed enthusiasm about the completion of the Series A funding and highlighted Moneta Ventures’ expertise as a valuable asset. With a commitment to transforming the digital guest experience in the hospitality sector, Virdee is poised for further success, building on its Series Seed financing in 2022 and an angel investment in 2020. The total funding now exceeds $21 million, marking a significant milestone for the Austin-based innovator.
