Ventive Secures £900,000 Investment to Power Innovative Heat Pump Development

In a significant stride towards revolutionizing the sustainable heating and ventilation sector, Ventive, the heat pump specialist, has successfully secured an investment of approximately £900,000. This funding marks the initial closing of Ventive’s ambitious £1 million to £1.5 million investment program, with additional investments expected before April 30, 2024.

EMV Capital, the venture capital and corporate finance firm wholly owned by Ventive, led and syndicated the investment. The substantial funds obtained will propel the development of Ventive’s modular heat pumps, along with further advancements in their passive air ventilation product range. The company also aims to bolster its marketing and sales capacity to drive the adoption of its existing products.

Rob Morrison, Managing Director of Ventive, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This investment is a strong endorsement of our work and recognition of Ventive as a pioneer in the design of naturally intelligent ventilation systems.” Morrison emphasized the environmental benefits of heat pumps, powered by easily decarbonizable electricity, in reducing the carbon footprint of homes and buildings.

Ventive’s product lineup addresses critical market segments of air quality and sustainable heating. The passive air ventilation system has already demonstrated success in over 30 schools and five leisure centers, delivering excellent air quality results. The novel heat pump, currently in advanced development stages, boasts a unique modular design and a groundbreaking thermal store, positioning Ventive at the forefront of innovation in the industry.

Ed Hooper, Executive Director of NetScientific and Investment Director at Ventive, praised the successful fundraising efforts, stating, “We believe that this fundraising positions Ventive well for further growth.” The investment comes at a pivotal time for Ventive, aligning with significant regulatory changes, rising energy prices, and an increasing focus on climate change policies. The company is poised for continued success in the rapidly growing and high-impact market segment of sustainable heating and ventilation.
