Helin Secures €3 Million Seed Funding for Industrial Edge Intelligence Platform
Helin, an emerging player in the industrial edge intelligence sector, has recently closed a €3 million Seed funding round courtesy of FORWARD.one. Representing Helin’s inaugural funding phase, this infusion of capital signifies a pivotal shift from its bootstrap origins to a phase of rapid expansion.
The funds secured will be allocated towards bolstering Helin’s commercial and development teams and expanding its Industrial Edge Intelligence SaaS platform. In an era marked by heightened emphasis on security compliance, energy transition, and automation, Helin’s approach brings computation and analytics closer to data sources. This strategy promises advantages such as cost reduction, heightened efficiency, top-tier security, and scalability.
By harnessing real-time data extraction, computer vision, and AI, Helin empowers maritime and energy enterprises to optimize the management of industrial devices on their assets. Uniquely positioned, Helin integrates data, applications, and security seamlessly within a singular platform.
Noteworthy global clients such as Boskalis, BP, HMH, Maersk Drilling, Noble Corp, Stena, and Sunrock have already partnered with Helin. Recording a substantial 78% increase in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in the past quarter, Helin has also forged key alliances with industry giants including Microsoft, Aveva, and NVIDIA.
Helin’s primary objective is to transform ‘dumb’ industrial assets into ‘smart’ entities, prioritizing improvements in efficiency, safety, and sustainability. The platform offers customizable services focusing on increasing efficiency, enhancing safety, and fostering sustainability and scenario planning.
Prominent use cases include operational KPIs for crews, assets, and operations, automated reporting, API for data sharing and tender compliance, operations control center, real-time equipment health monitoring, monitoring applications for people detection, incident and overload tracking and reporting, and digital twin for scenario planning, among others.
Through Helin, companies like Boskalis have significantly reduced fuel consumption, Sunrock has optimized revenue in solar parks, and BP has improved safety and efficiency on drilling rigs.
